About Us

We are a three-generation family and proud of Besteman Pure Maple Syrup and Products. 

Maple harvest season is in the spring when we have freezing nights and sunny, warm days. Maple sap, a clear slightly sweet, watery liquid is collected from each maple tree. The rich amber color and distinct maple flavor of pure syrup is produced by boiling the sap to concentrate the sugar level. We still use wood to fire up the evaporator.
